Landstar’s Mutual Understanding of Safety Together or M.U.S.T. program brings together Landstar representatives and customers in a collaborative effort to increase safe, on-time and damage free pick-ups and deliveries. A flexible, cooperative venture, M.U.S.T. invites those on loading docks, in shipping and receiving, and behind the wheel to build a joint safety effort. From round table discussions and site surveys to extensive training and awareness programs, the results are safe, effective procedures for the transportation environment. Because no two shippers are alike, our flexible, customized program enables customers to participate in the safety elements which are directly related to their business.
The M.U.S.T. program may address the following:

Eliminate potential accidents at loading or unloading facilities. For example: blind spots, dropped trailers, uneven terrain leading up to the dock, etc.
