Every agency within the Landstar system must designate an individual to oversee safety. These responsibilities include safe, complete and accurate dispatch, support of the organization’s ethics code, and compliance with Landstar rules and regulations.
Each month a Landstar Safety Officer (LSO) is recognized as LSO of the Month for their efforts in promoting and consistently communicating safety messages to BCOs, customers, fellow agents and the public.
An agency’s LSO is an invaluable resource to the entire organization.
